Day profile:





We spent the night at the alm which is (with no offence to the caretakers) a kind of barn.






The breakfast was quite simple - bread, butter and coffee.





The owners cute dog refused to sleep and sit anywhere other then the door entrance. I guess with everyone having to step over it, it felt like the center of attention ;))






Checking the route once again.







Solar pannels for all the equipment I have with me. Actually before I could sit down to set these up, we were attacked by a young mountain horse which had a lot of interest in our backpacks and would start jumping on it's back legs as soon as we tried to move away. Pictures are on the other camera, so I will post then after the trip.

First glimpse of the hut we will spend the night in.






Monika is checking the route for tomorrow.

Still no mobile Internet. I get a weak gps signal and even "E" for edge on the iPhone, but it is there and gone within seconds. Some German guys have tried to make phonecalls by standing on tables and trying to hold their phone as high as possible ;))

Todays route was advertised as 2 Italian ninja hours. We made it in 6, which brings worries about making tomorrows route which is 5,5 Italian ninja hours. We are counting on 11 hours of hiking, so will start very early (around 7:00) tomortow. Especially since the hut we will be going to is not maintaned, so it's good to see how it looks like inside before the dark.
